Although I don’t usually get a sense of films like these, ones that are made with a handheld camera or through computer screens, but this Stephen Susco directorial is decent inside and out. It began nice and slow, but once it picked up the pace, the narrative took an unpredictable and more of an eerie route. It was terrifying, especially towards the very end.

And each movie builds up such intense suspense, and all of them have such satisfying endings that it makes the viewing experience worthy.

Although, I have to say that I believe the movie isn’t for everyone, but you should check it out, especially if you like films centered around strong female leads. The narrative has three timelines, two of which intersect with each other, and the third takes place nine years after the latter two. Overall, this film is a decent watch, and despite the slow pace, you cannot look away from it.

A group of friends travels to Germany to attend the midsummer festival. Well, first off, the movie has some explicit content, and there’s a decent amount of blood and gore in there too so, that might not be for everyone. Other than that, the movie was creepy, thrilling and the group of friends are tripping throughout the film which adds another layer of creepiness to everything. Again, this movie is not for everyone, but if you can, do check it out.

The storyline was super unique, compelling, and me on the edge of my seat inside and out. There wasn’t a dull moment, kudos to the director Jordan Peele for delivering yet another impressive film.
