To All the Boys 3 Review – A Wholesome Teen Romance Film!

To All the Boys: Always and Forever on Netflix, starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo in the primary roles, is a high school teen rom-com and is a sequel to 2020s To All the Boys: P. S. I Still Love You, and the third and final installment in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy. It is based on Jenny Han’s 2017 novel Always and Forever, Lara Jean, and is directed by Michael Fimognari.

With both the predecessors maintaining a popular vote in the Netflix and Chill category, I was interested to check out how To All the Boys: Always and Forever fared on an entertainment and emotional level. And most of all, I was also curious to know if this the best trilogy available in the new-age teen romance section.

Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky, the Alder High School’s famous couple, are in love like never before, and their love for each other has grown even more while Lara was away in Korea for a family trip. As they prepare and wait for an offer letter from Universities, Lara and Peter hope to attend the same college. How Lara and Peter handle the situation without sabotaging their relationship narrates the remainder of the film.

To All the Boys 3 Review

Like its predecessor, To All the Boys: Always and Forever also gives more attention to the emotions of the characters. And this time, they made sure to beautifully capture the romance between the lead couple, Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. The adorable chemistry between the couple and their on-screen romance is pleasing to watch through and through.

Another attractive aspect of To All the Boys: Always and Forever is the scene montages and the songs that played in the background. Director Michael Fimognari, who also handled the camera for the film, made sure to capture their lovey-dovey-cutesy moments, the landscape of New York City, and have perfectly blended them with the right selection of songs.

Apart from the cuddly romance between the two, To All the Boys: Always and Forever had very little to offer storyline wise. The core plot of the film is explained within the initial half-hour and the rest exaggerated their charming relationship. Unlike its predecessors, there are very few happenings on the screen between the leads and tries to focus on the remaining supporting characters for a while.

But, when you take all the three films as a whole, the To All the Boys trilogy carried the much-needed momentum created in the first film till the last installment. The makers produced a decent high school romance film that isn’t littered with unwanted obscene scenes. To sum it up, the To All the Boys trilogy is one of the well-made high school romance films available on Netflix. If you wish to have a movie marathon with your loved one, this film series must be your pick. Watch ‘To All the Boys 3’ on Netflix here.
