Pig Best English Movies of 2021

With Pig, director Michael Sarnoski took this compelling but very simple idea and developed a deep and impressive narrative. Each character is given immense depth and development, and it truly was astonishing how real the characters felt. Alex Wolff did a great job in the supporting role, and Nicholas Cage gave us one of his best performances to date as he shines every second he is on screen. While may not be for everyone as it is a slow-burn character study, it is nothing less than a remarkable and heartbreaking story that will keep you enthralled through its entire 92-minute runtime.
