Iyobinte Pusthakam is set in the 1900s in Munnar, and Fahadh Faasil plays the role of Aloshy, one of the sons of Iyob. Iyob was an obedient worker under a British-man Harrison, and after his return to the native country, Iyob unlawfully acquires his property. Aloshy who flees from home at a young after witnessing a crime by his brothers joins the Indian Navy, and later he is sacked due to left-centric Independence movements.
