Scream (1996): “The Scream-tacular Slasher Classic!” – Journal with Yas #15

I finally watched this horror/slasher classic this Halloween season, and so glad I did! I really enjoyed this film and all of it’s characters, and it’s one that I will definitely watch again. Ghostface is one of the most iconic spooky villains and probably one of my favourites because of the way he’s an actual mess, falling all over the place. The opening scene to Scream is incredibly gripping and sets up for a really good movie – even if you haven’t watched this movie, you’ll definitely recognise the first scene.

I found this to be a very fun take on a horror film which I loved as I struggle when it comes to movies in the horror genre. A good solid ending with a twist, and the kickstart of a really good slasher franchise. Also, I’m really pleased with how this journal spread turned out! I love the red blood dripping details and the white stitching outline on some of the characters.
