A group of magicians together plan to complete a heist with a touch of magic. Just like most of the franchises, the first film in the Now You See Me Universe is an entertaining watch accompanied by an appealing plot, slick production design, and an ensemble that is capable enough to keep you engaged. After you get familiar with the franchise from the first film, you wouldn’t be all that surprised with the second instalment cause it tries to repeat all the cliches, but it still manages to be on the radar of that ‘one-time watch’ category.
Director – F. Gary Gray
Cast – Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg
Streaming Platform – Prime Video

Director – Nicolas Winding Refn
Cast – Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan
Streaming Platform – Netflix
Starring Ryan Gosling in the lead role, Drive is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, well known for his unorthodox directing techniques and focuses on total perfection in every shot. With a decent story, Drive is all about how well it’s crafted and executed. Also, the soundtrack and the camera work were some of the best I’ve seen in the last decade. Drive (2011) is a slow burn that might not be for everyone, but it is an intriguing watch.
Director – Edgar Wright
Cast – Ansel Elgort, Lily James
Streaming Platform – Netflix

Mixed expertly with magnificent choice of music, remarkable camera work, skillful direction, and kick-ass action sequences, this Edgar Wright directorial is an entertaining watch you shouldn’t miss. One of the Best Heist Movies on Netflix.
Director – Rob Cohen
Cast – Vin Diesel, Paul Walker

Streaming Platform – Disney+ Hotstar
A relatively smaller-scale film in the MCU, Ant-Man manages to keep you engaged from start to finish. With a strong performance by Paul Rudd, an incredibly charming supporting cast, a simple story, and impressive visual effects, this movie proves that Marvel doesn’t need to have world-ending events for every single conflict. One of the Best Heist Movies on OTT.
Cast – Brad Pitt, George Clooney
Streaming Platform – Prime Video
Fun, intense, and charming, the entire Oceans franchise is an entertaining watch. With George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon in the lead roles, the sequels were a bit of a let down compared to the original, but they are far from mundane or boring. Steven Soderberg’s directing style, combined with the upbeat music and decent performances from the cast, make this franchise a must-watch.
