1. Badla

Director – Sujoy Ghosh
Starring – Taapsee & Amitabh Bachchan

First on the list of the Best Bollywood Crime Thriller Movies on Netflix, Badla, a 2019 breathtaking chiller, is a dazzling and straightforward film from beginning to end. Contained top-class performances from Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan, the film has a quick narrative, keeps you speculating, and capped with unsurprising twists, yet well-executed. Despite a few problems, Badla still manages to entertain thoroughly. A good one-time watch.

2. Andhadhun

Director – Sriram Raghavan
Starring – Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu

Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun is touted as one of the Best Bollywood Movies in recent years by the Indian audience. It is without a doubt a very well-acted, brilliantly written, and remarkably acted dark comedy thriller which keeps you on the edge-of-the-seat and anxious as can be the whole time with numerous exciting twists along the way.

3. Talvar

Director – Meghna Gulzar
Starring – Irrfan Khan, Neeraj Kabi

Talvar, a 2015 crime-thriller by Meghna Gulzar, brings a profound plunge into the 2008 double homicide case in Noida that got indecisive for its uninformed sentencing. Featuring Irrfan Khan in the lead role, the movie portrays a couple of alternate points of view of the murder and changes it into an arresting edge-of-the-seat drama. The performances, direction by Gulzar, and the tension-filled storyline make Talvar perhaps one of the Best Bollywood Crime Thriller Movies on Netflix in recent times.

4. Manorama Six Feet Under

Director – Navdeep Singh
Starring – Abhay Deol, Gul Panag

[This film is also feat. in our ‘Best Bollywood on Netflix’ list]

Next on the list of the Best Bollywood Crime Thriller Movies on Netflix, directed by Navdeep Singh, Manorama Six Feet Under is a well-executed and put together thriller. By preferring to tribute his first movie to the 1974 classic, Chinatown, Navdeep made sure that his execution is remarkable inside and out. The screenplay and the performances also stand out as the film could not have asked for a better leading man than Abhay Deol. Manorama Six Feet Under is underrated and deserves more praise as it eccentrically curves the crime drama genre.

5. Kahaani

Director – Sujoy Ghosh
Starring – Vidya Balan & Nawazuddin Siddiqui

Kahaani narrates the story of Vidya Bagchi, a pregnant lady who comes to Kolkata from London in search of her husband, who goes missing. But, everybody she questions deny meeting him and even went on to say that he never existed. The fascinating and convincing storyline accompanied by Vidya Balan’s brilliant portrayal as a pregnant lady makes this movie a serious entertainer from start to finish. With splendid performances from Vidya Balan, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, this is a must-watch thriller.

6. Talaash

Director – Reema Kagti
Starring – Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan

[This film is also featured in our ‘Best Bollywood Movies on Amazon’ list]

The 2012 psychological crime thriller, Talaash, directed by Reema Kagti, is diverse in its approach and is the main reason why it went on to become one of the biggest Bollywood hits of 2012. Directing spine chillers of this specific kind is never simple as it must be more concise and captivating with regards to the screenplay. In any case, Kagti works admirably and scores in these angles well. Talaash is an appealing movie that leaves you entertained. Watch it for the story and the terrific star cast. One of the Best Bollywood Crime Thriller Movies on Netflix.
