The Summer I Turned Pretty: “A Summer of Childhood Crushes and Crushing Dreams!” – Journal with Yas #4

I didn’t plan on watching The Summer I Turned Pretty until I kept getting recommendations on how good it was and saw lots journal/book accounts hyping it up, so I caved and watched it and actually really enjoyed it! The way this show romanticises summer is amazing and makes me feel like I’m living my teenage summer dream. I was in love with the aesthetic and a show that was fun and easy to binge – deffo recommend as a good summer watch!

I liked getting to know all of the different characters and following their different story lines; not only was the love triangle… or square… enjoyable to watch, I was also fond of the parents story lines. The upbeat pop soundtrack was also a perfect match for this series!
