A comedy-drama, and the film which brought Kriti Sanon a Filmfare Award in the Best Actress category, Mimi (2021), a remake of the hit Marathi film, Mala Aai Vhaychy, tells an emotional tale of a surrogate mother, who gets embroiled in an unexpected situation. A heart-warming movie inside and out, Mimi, with an unorthodox story, all-star performances, and soothing music from A. R. Rahman, is, without a doubt, Kriti’s best work.
