Gilmore Girls: “A Classic Fall Favourite!” – Journal with Yas #12
Gilmore Girls is such a classic 2000s wholesome show for this time of year. It has a warm, cozy and autumnal vibe and I love tuning into Rory and Lorelai’s life during the fall and winter months. I adore the aesthetic of Stars Hollow, it is such a cute and quaint little town that I would love to visit (if it was real, but a studio tour would have to do!). I love the close knit community of all the characters and by the end of the show it all feels so familiar with seeing Luke’s Diner and Dosey’s supermarket in nearly every episode!

Gilmore Girls is such an easy watch following the relationship of mother and daughter, Lorelai and Rory. As someone who enjoys watching drama or thriller shows, this is such a nice break and is a perfect cozy Sunday evening type of show. Even though Rory does lose her charm and likeable qualities in the later seasons, I still felt so emotional during the final episodes as it was the end of an era and waving goodbye to so many loveable and funny characters. Lorelai is full of witty one-liners and her coffee addiction is probably one of my favourite aspects of the series.
But the most important question… are you Team Dean or Team Jess? 🍁🍂🥮🧡🥧☕️🥞🥡📚🎃📺
