What does “Born Actor†mean? Actors who do not need any formal training and can run the show even as a child. Here is a list of Child Actors who turned out to be successful movie stars, some being star kids and the others being the opposite.

How many of you know guys that he had a bigger hit as a child actor as compared to his movies as a lead actor? As a child, he was part of movies like Raja Hindustani, Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke, Zakhm, Dushman. His debut as an actor was Kalyug, which did well at the box office. However, it was only downhill for Kunal Khemu from there. He is enjoying his fatherhood at the moment and can be seen in very few movies lately.

Shahid Kapoor, after suffering through a series of flop films finally managed to score a hit in his kitty with the heavily controversial, Kabir Singh. His struggle would have been quite a challenge even after being a good dancer and actor. Seems like he has been preparing for Bollywood since his childhood. He can be seen in TV commercials mostly and did not perform in any movies. He was the famous Complan boy along with Ayesha Takia. He also starred in the famous song “Aankhon me tera hi chehra!†by Aryans in the ’90s as a cute teenager.

She has acted in two movies as a child actor – Chachi 420 where she plays the daughter of Kamal Haasan and Tabu in the film, One Two Ka Four. Even after being a child actor, getting movies as a grown-up is not very easy. Fatima claims to have struggled for a good number of years before bagging the role of Geeta in Dangal. She was almost at the verge of giving up. Looks like life had other plans for her. She took a complete U-turn after Dangal and came back stronger.
He is the son of actor-director Rakesh Roshan and is destined to make it big in Bollywood because of his looks, attitude and talent. His debut movie Kaho Na Pyaar Hai was a grand slam and established him as a superstar. As a child actor, he was part of a movie called Bhagwandada.
Being the son of a well-known director David Dhawan, getting into TV commercials would’ve been an easier process for Varun Dhawan. He was the boy in the Bournvita ad. Who would have known that he was the son of David Dhawan, trying to explore the world of entertainment? He had decided to join the film industry whilst pursuing an MBA in the UK. Thereafter he left his education and came back to achieve his dream of being an actor.

Karan Johar is the son of a famous producer/director Yash Johar. His parents always dreamt of him becoming an actor but he never wished the same. He followed the steps of his father to become a director. However, this did not stop him from trying his luck at acting. He is a famous chat show host now but do you know how he started?
