Powered with a decent story and transparent performances from the cast, Ho Maan Jahaan is a good attempt, but it could’ve been so much better.

Shot in the gorgeous valley of Swat, Pakistan, Janaan manages to entertain till the climax, however, the substandard end might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Living in the northern areas of Pakistan, a ranger’s son gets kidnapped by poachers. Okay so first off, I love how far Pakistan’s cinematography has come, the animation was amazing, and the storyline was very good, it was more or less predictable, but it was very nice, really religious and patriotic. However, it started to drag a bit in the middle but other than that Allahyar and the Legend of the Markhor was a good, family movie.

Shoaib Mansoor’s 2011 film, Bol details the narrative of a struggling family from Pakistan, who keep procreating in the hopes of having a son.
