First on the list of the Upcoming Bollywood Remakes of South Indian Movies, one of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s career-best box-office hits, Theri, penned and helmed by Atlee Kumar stars Samantha as the female lead. The Hindi remake of the film stars Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, and given the family-entertainer genre, this remake has all the possibilities to repeat the same magic as the original.
The Great Indian Kitchen Hindi remake starring Sanya Malhotra titled ‘Mrs’; to premiere at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. The Hindi remake of the critically-acclaimed Malayalam film also stars Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljit Singh in key roles.
The Hindi remake of director Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru will star Akshay Kumar and Radhika Mandan in the lead roles with Suriya working as the producer and will be seen in a cameo role. The story revolves around a young man from a remote village, who dreams of launching his own airline service. However, he must overcome several obstacles and challenges in order to be successful in his quest.
Upcoming Bollywood Remakes of South Indian Movies: Sunny Deol to step into Joju George’s shoes For Joseph (2018) remake. George had played the titular role in M Padmakumar’s crime thriller. It is now reported that the film will be remade in Hindi and Sunny Deol has been roped in to play the lead role.
Allari Naresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer Naandhi is a Telugu courtroom drama directed by Vijay Kanakamedala. Dil Raju has bought the rights to produce its Hindi remake. Ajay Devgn will be appearing in the lead role.
