4. Bigil

Over the last decade, we’ve seen a Khan releasing their movie either for Eid or Christmas. Slowly, this culture is infiltrating into Kollywood and already Thalapathy has sealed the Diwali weekend for himself with Bigil being his third straight film releasing for Diwali festival. Bigil is the fourth directorial venture of Atlee, the third time with Vijay as the lead and second time with A. R. Rahman as music director. No wonder Vijay trusts this young man so much, as Atlee is capable of pulling the right chords and make the film collect in millions.

One of the most anticipated movies of the year and featured in Top 10 Most Anticipated Hollywood Movies Releasing in Fall 2019, Todd Phillips’ Joker seems to be the initial movie which will jump start the awards season this year. Gaining traction from all over the internet especially from the viewers who are clamoring for a more realistic version of comic book movies rather than the traditional MCU films we see every year. 2. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Set in the pre-independent era, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is about a forgotten hero from South India, who bravely fought against the British. Made on an enormous budget of 300 crores, the film has many big names from four movie industries coming together, with the main protagonist being ‘Megastar’ Chiranjeevi. With all the high talents being roped in, including Vijay Sethupathi, expectations are sky-high for this film.

Initially titled as Fighters, WAR is an action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is about an Indian soldier who is assigned to eliminate his former mentor, who had gone rogue now. Two international action choreographers from Hollywood and Korea are roped in for the film’s action sequences and we can expect some kick-ass action and it will probably be The Biggest Hit of 2019.
