Top 10 Life Lessons Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Taught Us

It has been six years since the big screen was mesmerized by the magic known as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, with which I’ve fallen in love ever since. When I sit back and count down the number of times I have seen this film over the years, believe me, my ten fingers aren’t quite sufficient. To recreate the magic of rom-com’s like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Jab We Met is a tough task, but, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani comes close to being this decade’s favourite romantic comedy.

Having said that, there’s definitely some magic in this film, which makes it one of the most beloved films of the newer generation. With euphonious music, stellar cast, exotic locations, and beautifully written dialogues, this film have garnered a huge fan following. From the first scene where Naina receives Aditi’s wedding card to the very end, everything about it was lavish and beautiful. But, unlike Dharma Productions’ other films, it was realistic as well. One thing which I can surely say it had throughout the runtime is that “ Oh God! That’s my story” feel. This film understood our generation aptly and taught us a lot in life.

As the film completes its sixth-year anniversary on 31st May 2019, here are the Top 10 reasons why we love Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and the lessons it taught us within the three-hour runtime.
