The Best Weird-Looking Funny Bollywood Movie Posters

Funny Bollywood Movie Posters: Posters are the face of a movie. They contribute to the overall experience of a movie by portraying the basic premise. During the early (golden) days, when social media wasn’t even a thing, viewers judged a movie based on the poster and then decided whether to watch it or not. Surprisingly, some people manage to come up with quite creative ideas that turn out to be hands-down, weird. I am not questioning their talent, but the following are a few Bollywood Movie Posters which will make your ribs tickle.

Baazigar

From Shah Rukh Khan’s tacky shades to Shilpa Shetty’s animal print pants to Kajol’s unibrow, there’s mediocrity embedded in every bit of this poster. The creator tried to be way too artistic and ended up with this. To my surprise, the producers approved this disasterpiece as well. I wonder what they were thinking before approving the poster or maybe it would have been one of their brilliant tactics to get the attention of the audience. Make the poster funny and make people watch the movie.

Why? Why? Why? My question to the poster guy. If one was not enough, there is another version of this ridiculous poster. Thank you so much for bestowing upon us your immense creativity skills. We thank you from the depths of our hearts. One of the most outrageous Bollywood Movie Posters.

Shakka

This second poster is from the days when movie posters were painted by hand. There have been several masterpieces of such art, but clearly, this one below is not one amongst them. The actor in this poster does not even look like Jitendra. He looks like a dollar store doppelgänger of him. Shakka (how is that for a name) released in 1981, starring Simple Kapadia as the female lead. Yes, she is Dimple Kapadia’s sister. I had no idea she acted in movies at all. I only came across this movie thanks to this amazing poster.

Tere Mere Beech Mein

Bollywood Movie Posters: Amjad Khan’s expression is the funniest. I cannot believe that this was promoted for the movie. What’s wrong with the team that released it? The poster artist had immense talent and that is – “How to mess up a movie poster.” I’m sure he/her must be very proud of his mind-blowing work.

Zehreela Insaan

Even the name of this movie is funny. And after looking at this poster I got to pity the cast of the movie. Rishi Kapoor should have gone through a lot to sign this film, and now, if he looks at this one-of-a-kind poster, I’m sure it will crack him up. But, even then, the cast had to make ends meet, so, why not!

Jaani Dushman (1979)

Produced under the Kohli banner, Jaani Dushman is the story of a bride who turns into a ghost. Another version of this movie was later released by the same producer by the same name. Getting too graphical, and using an abundant amount of CGI is their USP as can be seen from this nightmarish Bollywood Movie Posters.

Dil

I saved the best for the last. What was Madhuri Dixit even thinking before wearing that outfit and giving a larger-than-life pose? Her look seems out-of-place. And the costume designer will make Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi run for their money. And then what’s with the African head-dress with a big brooch on top of it? And the weird earrings which look like shredded snake-skin. This poster only makes me laugh. Aamir Khan looks like a specimen as well in those gold-framed shades. I think they forgot to look at a mirror before posing. One of the most funny Bollywood Movie Posters.
