18. Doctor Strange (2016)

Dr. Stephen Strange is introduced as another proud hero figure who built his own stature much similar to Tony Stark. The story of Doctor Strange is designed to widen our creative thoughts as well as expectations from the MCU and prepares us to withstand stronger plotlines for future movies.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Ranked: The direct sequel to the 2011 movie Thor: The Dark World with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in the lead roles, this 2013 movie revolves around Thor, who sets out on a journey to defeat Malekith, the leader of the Dark Elves when he returns to Asgard to retrieve a dangerous weapon and fulfill his desire of destroying the Nine Realms.


16. Black Widow (2021)

Starring – Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh

Black Widow is the first major feature movie in Phase Four of MCU, with Scarlett Johansson in the lead as Natasha Romanoff alongside Florence Pugh. Set in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha is labelled a culprit by America for violating Sokovia Accord, and she is on the run. While hiding, a package with an antidote from her sister, Yelena, makes her go behind her violent past and confront Dreykov, head of the Red Room.


15. Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Starring – B. Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen

In what is arguably the MCU’s first horror film, Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Stephen Strange and teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses to battle multiple threats. Including other-universe versions of himself and a grief stricken Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olsen. One of the most unique films in our Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Ranked list.


14. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Starring – Chris Hemsworth & Mark Ruffalo

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok presents us with the dynamic team-up of Thor and Hulk after two years of absence since the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Deprived of his mighty hammer Mjolnir, Thor must escape the other side of the universe to save his home, Asgard, from Hela, the goddess of death.


13. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Starring – Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana

Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies Ranked: Guardians of the Galaxy is a surprising gift box filled with all the elements of action, emotion and humor, which perfectly sums up the term “Summer Movie Blockbuster.” The story revolves around Peter, who escapes from the planet Morag with a valuable orb that Ronan the Accuser wants. He eventually forms a group with unwilling heroes to stop Ronan.
