8. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

An enjoyable introduction into the magical universe and the script used the long run-time well and displayed quite a few creative ideas that had me smiling and amazed. An entertaining movie.

7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The third in the franchise, and we follow Harry Potter and his friends in their third year. It’s worth noting that the director changed from Chris Columbus to Alfonso Cuarón. Overall, I’m still amazed at how well and create the script and source material used its universe to entertain the audience. The story was more complex, that was good and enjoyable, but, still felt too long and lost me a couple of times.

6. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Now the trio spent their second year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Just like the first, this one expanded the wizarding world more. Again, I enjoyed the creativity from the script and source material. Overall, it is better than the previous one in terms of the story, and I still had a fun time.

5. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The danger and treachery continue to plague Harry Potter and his friends at Hogwarts. The movie is a grand adventure with a mix of romance and dark magic. The plot was a bit uneven though.

4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

So there’s more than one wizard school. The plot is about the Triwizard tournament, where each school’s representative battled for the glory. However, somehow, Harry Potter was chosen as the fourth contestant, and we have ourselves a fun and intense story. This movie is where the main story starts.

3. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

And the looming danger continued to haunt Harry Potter. This time, the school got ransacked by the Ministry of Magic, and the students weren’t allowed to practice magic. Yet another thoroughly fun display of wizardry.

2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Preview Only: After Voldemort takes over the Ministry of Magic, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are forced into hiding. They try to interpret the clues left to them by Dumbledore to find and finish Voldemort’s Horcruxes.

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

The grand finale of the journey of Harry Potter and his friends, and the danger could not be any more prominent. A magnificent way to end the franchise. I enjoyed almost every installment, but this one delivered all aspects.
