Enchanted: “A Price Parody Mashup!” – Journal with Yas #24

This is one of my absolute favourite Disney films – it’s so fun and magical, and I love how it’s a big parody mashup of lots of classic fairytales! Amy Adams is perfect in the role of Giselle, she is overly theatrical and princessy in every way. It’s enjoyable watching her adjust to NYC from Anadalasia and it really does make our world feel overwhelming at times. Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden are both fantastic in their roles, bringing humour at every moment.

The costumes are some of my favourites I’ve seen in film, they’re all so gorgeous and princessy from the insane sparkly wedding gown to the pretty blue floral curtain dress. The soundtrack is also amazing!! I love every single song and have had them on my playlist for years, they’re all so catchy and wonderfully suited to a Disney princess film. A comfort film filled with lots of nostalgia! 💖🐿️✨🍎🥧🐉🗽🚕🏰🗡️🍕🔮
