Loosely adapted from the 2016 Spanish film The Invisible Guest, Evaru is another thriller from Adivi Sesh similar to his 2016 film, Kshanam. Contrary to the original, Venkat Ramji does a decent job changing things as he took the fundamental components from the source material and made the plot his own. Commendable performances from Regina Cassandra and Adivi Sesh complement the complex narrative, as Evaru will keep you guessing and engaged for the most part.

The film spends most of its runtime showcasing his bravery, intent, and sacrifices he made during the horrific 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

Kshanam operated as a resurgence for Adivi Sesh’s career and is one of the best Tollywood movies the industry produced in the last decade. The storyline details the kidnapping of a child and continues with quite a few twists and turns that you will not see coming. The riveting screenplay and the background score by Sri Charan Pakala add to the movie’s output, and it is, without a doubt, a gripping thriller that took chances.
