The story is straightforward, it’s the end of the world, and only a select few millionaires get to escape in specially designed ships. And our protagonist tries his best to get his family on that vessel. Do not miss this!

Best Disaster Movies on OTT: One of the select few Roland Emmerich disaster films which worked box-office wise, The Day After Tomorrow with Jake Gylenhall in the lead role, begins when a sudden worldwide storm begins to plunge the entire planet into a new ice age. Subsequently, Jack, a paleoclimatologist, embarks on a dangerous trek to New York City to save his son from the disaster.

Mimi Leder’s 1998 movie, Deep Impact, follows the conventional disaster movie template and begins when a deadly comet is about to strike Earth and destroy humanity. However, President Beck plans a method to build a network of caves for housing one million Americans.
