Shibharathri is a simple tale of a family man preparing to go for Hajj, an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca and stars Dileep and Anu Sithara in the lead roles. The storyline is about Muhammad – a good-hearted person revisits people who had been in his life to get forgiveness for the small mistakes he committed. The first half of the movie comprises of family drama, and Siddique portrayed the character of Muhammad very well. The second half explores the life of Krishnan, played by Dileep and how he got associated with Muhammad. The songs in the movie fit well into the movie and exchange a nice feeling. Overall, Shubharathri is an ordinary film, but, it delivers heartfelt messages about humanity.

Later, he meets Chinnu through a proposal by a broker and lands into a dilemma about marriage. The film has also portrayed the moral destructive power of social media and Vinay Fortt handled his role of Sreenivasan with perfection. Director, Ashraf Hamza had done a decent job in the attempt to redefine the social outlook regarding the concept of physical beauty.
