Double Rewind Podcast Episode 1 – Mission: Impossible (1996)

Double Rewind is a podcast hosted by identical twin sisters Jillian and Stephanie Young. Each episode one sister will select a film, TV series, music, a book, or any other form of entertainment for the other to experience for the first time. An intro segment called Top Three begins the podcast where Jillian and Stephanie talk about their top three favorites for a different topic each week.

Then background information about the main topic will be discussed on the podcast as well as the watcher’s initial reactions, ratings, and more fun topics of discussion. Followed by this will be the ending segment discussing trivia/goofs/ and success of the film, TV show, etc. Lastly, the next episode’s topic will be announced. Episodes will be released bi-weekly on Mondays!

On the first episode of Double Rewind, get to know your hosts Jillian and Stephanie Young as they discuss their background, what got them into the entertainment industry, and their favorite films. This week’s episode is all about the film Mission: Impossible (1996). Stephanie shows Jillian the film for the first time and Jillian gives her initial reactions and opinions on the movie. They discuss Tom Cruise’s career, the heist scene in the film, and Brian DePalma’s style when he directed it. They then dove into the success of the movie and how the other Mission: Impossible movies stack up. Tune in next week as Jillian shows Stephanie the 2009 film Zombieland!
