'Zero' is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018, and it is the most ambitious projects of the Shah Rukh Khan's career and the film will be made on a high-end technology with an extensive use of VFX. Also Co-Starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma the film will also have a number of cameos. King Khan will be seen playing a diehard fan of Katrina in a double role. But, according to the recent reports, Kaif will not be seen romancing SRK and if rumors are true the actress, who will be playing a superstar, will be seen opposite to Abhay Deol. A source close to the project revealed a leading daily that Abhay will also have a cameo in 'Zero' and will play Kaif’s love interest.

About her role in the film, Katrina had said, “Initially, I was supposed to play myself in Zero. The film was titled Katrina Meri Jaan. There was a different cast on board and Shah Rukh sir wasn’t part of it. Now, it’s a satirical take on an actress.”

While Shah Rukh Khan will be seen essaying the role of a dwarf, Katrina and Anushka will also be playing interesting characters. A source had told a leading daily, “While everyone thinks that only Shah Rukh Khan has a special role in the film, they will be surprised to know that Anushka and Katrina's characters also face various challenges. While everyone knows Katrina plays a diva, nobody knows that she is also an alcoholic in the film. She battles with alcoholism, which affects her life in various ways. Anushka, on the other hand, plays a struggling scientist. The makers are trying to keep these details a secret because they don't want to give out too much information.”

Happy Bhag Jayegi - Movie Review

Verdict - "Fun, unique and charming!"

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Happy Bhag Jayegi recounts the life of Happy (Diana Penty), a perky valiant Punjabi kudiya, as she plans to run away with her boyfriend Guddu on her wedding night. After botching their strategy, Happy ends up in Lahore, Pakistan and confronts Bilal Ahmed (Abhay Deol) who is a cricketer wannabe and the son of a respected Pakistani official. How will Happy get deported back to India and reunites with her boyfriend will interlace the rest of the storyline.

With a perfect runtime of 126 minutes, this film proved to be a laugh riot from the get-go. The witty one-liners and the enjoyable vibe that the filmmaker created with his presentation was astounding as every comical scene didn't feel contrived or forced into the storyline. Consequently, the first half of the film was not tiresome and didn't give me a dreary feeling.

But, during the second half, the film started to struggle a little when the storyline took few wrong extensions and when the jokes began to feel a bit monotonous. However, the unorthodox climax and the overall conclusion of the film felt refreshing and didn't make the film look typical or conventional like other Bollywood films.

Progressively, the performances from the complete cast all across the board were completely noteworthy. Diana Penty embraced her character superbly and had done a decent job. Abhay Deol's likeable character and his splendid performance along with Jimmy Shergill, Momal Sheik and Ali Fazal helped the movie a lot. Especially, Piyush Mishra's amusing dialect which was hilarious to watch.

Nevertheless, even though the film had a few problems primarily in the second half, the primitive comedy, the delightful vibe, superior performances and the overall premise made this film a lot more enjoyable and unique. Definitely worth watching in a movie theatre.

My Rating - 3/5
Grade - B (Worth a watch!)
