Instant Movie Review #11 (Baby)

Neeraj Pandey's - "Baby"

Positives
1) Second act's Screenplay and Direction

Negatives
1) The 160-minute Runtime
2) The First Act

Analysis: Assembled as an enthralling thriller, Neeraj Pandey's "Baby" compiles a provocative screenplay and a wholesome storyline together making it a unique movie we usually come across from Bollywood.

Initiated with a zestless and an overused storyline, Baby commences on a lighter note and manages to rift its pace and direction in the second half which never refrains till the very end. It succeeds in acquiring your attention together and ultimately, I didn't really feel that I watched a generic movie.

Performances: Led by Akshay Kumar, (who was quite decent in the movie) the performances from the cast didn't seem appealing to me as there's nothing exclusive added to their characters. Consequently, the performances were satisfying but not incredible to watch.

Verdict: As a conclusion, Baby will be an entertainer if you watch it for the first time without reaching a judgment by the first act. The movie takes it time to engage you as a viewer and conclusively turns out to be a watchable movie. Recommended for a casual watch.

My Rating - 3.25/5 | Grade - B (Entertaining with Noticeable Flaws!)
