Kedarnath Fallout: Abhishek Kapoor to Takeover the Production from KriArj Entertainment

Kedarnath is riddled with controversies initially, the movie was jointly produced by Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment and director, Abhishek Kapoor’s Guy In the Sky Pictures. But after their recent fallout, it is reported that the film will now be made only under Abhishek’s banner as the director will repay a sum of 15 crores back to Prernaa and will wrap the film under his banner.

Talking about it, a trade source stated to the daily, "Abhishek and Prernaa talked across the table. Now, it has been decided that Gattu will reportedly give the latter Rs 15 crore that she paid him for the initial shooting. Once this money is settled, Abhishek will wrap up the movie under his banner."

Earlier, talking about the next schedule of Kedarnath, a source told a leading daily, "After the dust settled down, both Abhishek and the producers (Prernaa Arora and Arjun Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment) realized they were personally invested in the film and did not want to hamper it in any way. Both parties sat down and resolved their issues. The case filed against Abhishek by Prernaa has been withdrawn as well." No release schedule is been finalized yet.

Sonu Sood to Play the Baddie in 'Simmba'!?

The pre-production and casting choices seem to be an uphill battle for the makers of 'Simmba'. After going through many changes and finalizing Sara Ali Khan as the female lead, casting an antagonist is now the latest problem. A few months back, we heard rumors that they approached Abhishek Bachchan to play the baddie. After that, they've also approached R. Madhavan, but he has to step down due to a shoulder injury, but now, according to recent reports, we hear that Sonu Sood has finally ended up with the role.

Now, if you're fine lad like me and already seen the original Telugu film 'Temper' from which 'Simmba' is being adapted from, you already know that Sood will be playing the character of a psychic mafia don who has an unorthodox persona. It should be very interesting to see how Sood presents his role here as it is vital in the film.

Nevertheless, 'Simmba' is being co-produced by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty and stars the Versatile Ranveer Singh and Leggy Lass Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and is looking for a 28th December 2018 release.

Sara Ali Khan to Romance Ranveer in 'Simmba'!?

Simmba is an upcoming film starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Rohit Shetty and we all are well aware that Rohit is been searching for a suitable actress as the female lead for the film. Now, if rumors are true, the filmmaker found Ranveer’s heroine in Sara Ali Khan.

Sara Ali Khan (daughter of Saif Ali Khan) is yet to debut in Bollywood and her upcoming film 'Kedarnath' is creating buzz lately primarily because of the alterations between the director and the producers. Another actress considered for the role is Jahnvi Kapoor, who is yet another star kid.

Sources claim that Sara is selected as a consequence of the entire 'Kedarnath' controversy. We hear that her parents Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan were upset with the recent turn of events and Kareena joined Saif in putting a good word for Sara to film's producer Karan Johar, who basically cannot decline their request and went on to convince director Rohit Shetty to sign Sara for 'Simmba'.

Nevertheless, here's a fact, 'Simmba' is the remake of the super-hit Tollywood film 'Temper' starring N.T.R Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal that deals with a social message towards women empowerment.
