Yaamiruka Bayamey - Movie Review

Verdict - "Spine chilling horror scenes, made into rib-tickling comedies".

Last Friday, when Kochadaiiyaan was postponed to May 23rd two small budget movies were released. As I was kinda disappointed for the delay of Kochadaiiyaan, these two movies never interested me.

Over the weekend when this particular movie was gaining positive reviews from audience I was quite anxious to watch it. And the chance came on its way to me when my friend called and asked me if I could accompany him to a movie.

I didn’t want to lose this opportunity and we both headed to AGS Cinemas to check tickets and Yes! We got tickets for Yaamiruka Bayamey.

It has Kreshna, Rupa Manjari, Oviya and Karuna in the lead. Kiran (Kreshna) gets a Big Bungalow in Kolliyur village, that his father has transferred to his name before dying. Sarath (Karuna) and his sister Sharanya (Oviya) help Kiran in renovating the bungalow and make it into a resort.

Problems arise when all the customers who stay at the resort start dying. What happens next forms the rest plot.

Director Deekay managed to make a decent horror-comedy movie with an unusual plot. All the actors have done their part well, especially Karuna, he deserves a mention here. Cinematography and Background score were the movies backbone. I liked the way the ghost in the movie was portrayed. Not many cooks, to spoil the broth. It was simple and yet scary too.

Finally, Yaamiruka Bayamey is worth every paisa you spend on the ticket. It is a perfect movie to spend your leisure time. Don’t miss it!

My Rating: 3.75/5
Grade: B+ (Highly Entertaining)
