Indru Netru Naalai – Movie Review

Verdict - "A well made Science-Fiction film."

Indru Netru Naalai has Vishnu, Karunakaran and Mia George in the lead. It also has Jayaprakash, T.M.Karthik and Sai Ravi playing pivotal roles. Directed by Ravikumar, the films music is composed by Hip Hop Tamizhan.

Two friends, Elango (Vishnu) and Pulivetti Arumugam (Karunakaran) get drunk and meet with an accident. They get stranded in a lonely road with Parthasarathy (T.M.Karthik), an electronics and instrumentation engineer. During that night, they find a time machine which comes to the present year 2015 from the year 2065. What those guys do with the time machine and what problem it leads them to, forms the plot.

Debutant director Ravikumar has made a neat science-fiction film with minimal use of scientific reference and made the movie enjoyable. Though the films script looks complicated in some part, yet it’s convincing and highly entertaining.

Hip Hop Tamizhan’s music and background score is a big plus to the movie. BGM’s were apt and in sync with the film. Perfect placement of the songs makes it a delightful experience.

Vishnu seems to be greatly working on his acting skills. His way of choosing scripts should be appreciated. Mia George impresses us with her looks. Karunakaran with his big, wide eyes and weird expressions’ is sure to make us laugh. All other actors have done their assigned job well. T.M.Karthik, as a geek who invents a voice controlled car is sure to impress us.

Director Ravikumar, with help of all the technicians, marvellous script and great direction skills has made his debut film as an amusing science-fiction film that is worth watching in many ways.
